“What is a pet behavioural problem?”

Our pet’s behaviour can be challenging at the best of times. This is why it is so important that your pet receives the correct training it requires to live happily within your home.

Many behavioural problems can be avoided if we understood why our pets behave the way they do!  This is why it is important to take our time to consider what type of breed of dog or cat that you want to introduce into your family and whether your lifestyle suits your pet.

Behavioural problems can develop due to many different reasons, such as genetics, early experiences, learned behaviours, lack of training and/or exercise, or rewarding incorrect behaviours.  No one pet is the same...even if they are the same breed or from the same litter.  The close bond we develop with our pets is sometimes the reason why behavioural problems develop.
