Your plans for helping Twix’s behaviour has been great. We have already implemented many of them. The cats are mostly fed in separate rooms and this has definitely helped the two females. We have purchased some catnip bubbles and have been happily surprised that not only do the cats actively but they do so in close proximity, so this has become a new social activity for our cats. Thanks for your help and we will keep you posted.

A lovely lady, very approachable and helpful. I felt very comfortable talking to her and she listened to everything carefully and this was reflected in her report and improvement in Crackers behaviour.

We tried the ‘look’ command on the walk this afternoon, and the signs are that this is going to be successful. On two occasions, Jasper spotted a dog in the distance and immediately looked at Phil for a treat and didn’t bark at the dog at all. We even managed to get him to concentrate on the treat whilst a large German Shepherd walked past. Obviously, in time, we hope to be able to walk past all dogs without having to distract either of them, but it is a promising start, which we can build on. We are going to take them on separate walks in the mornings. Thanks very much for your help and advice. We will let you know how we get on.

Just an email to say thanks for your help with Demi and her bed wetting problem. We have since taken her to the vet who said that she should only be drinking around 1 pint of water a day and she is drinking around 5, so he was a bit concerned. He said she has Diabetes Insipidus, which means she is not producing enough ADH. He is going to do urine tests and possible blood tests and then take it from there. Once again thanks for your help, Kane has certainly learnt that he will get attention when he sits and automatically comes over and sits!

All the advice I had helped. The clicker training and whistle recall training has been brilliant!! It was so nice to have someone calm and knowledgeable to come and see Diesel and understand why he was acting the way he was and to know it was quite a mild problem and that by getting expert advice early it was easier to manage. It is really helpful and reassuring that Shelley is only at the end of a phone if there are any problems, thankfully I haven’t had to ring as the training and advice was really clear and concise. If I had any other problems I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Shelley again for another consultation and I have been recommending the service to others. I have also spoken to my local vet who was really interested to see how Diesel got on and if there was improvement in his behaviour.

Thank you for being so patient with Barney’s problems and his owners! Getting Barney to focus on me when traffic is passing has helped to build his confidence so much. He now enjoys his walks and doesn’t have to worry about passing traffic!
